    Away Games

This is going to be a really dumb question, but how do you go about getting tickets for away games. I went to cyclones.com and can't seem to find any information. Do you have to go to the site for the school hosting the game? A group of friends wants to go to the Oklahoma game this year and were trying to get information about pricing and such.

The way I have always handled it is to go with a group of buddies and let one of them handle the ticket purchase. Has worked pretty well everytime thus far.

Call the ISU Ticket office they can help you, right now they may not be for sale to the public yet, season ticket holders had a chance to buy away tickets first. If you go thru ISU those tickets will be in the ISU section if not who knows where they will be.

Will do, friend of mine found them on the OU site going for 77 bucks a piece, maybe it will be different buying them through ISU, hopefully not on the more expensive side.

Is he going to be on your lawn still though or are you making him stand in the street? Because there is a huge difference there.

On the subject of tickets, I emailed someone I know about the whole ticket thing, I'll post if I find anything out.

    Re: Away Games

So I just got an email back from the ticket office saying that they sell away game tickets to season ticket holders and cyclone club members. Thank you ticket office for telling me exactly what I could read on your website. I would love to be able to buy season tickets or donate and be a cyclone club member, and I probably will in a few years, but right now I am a grad student in Oklahoma and neither of those things really fits in my budget with what the grad school is paying me.

Anyone know a way to get tickets to the game that doesn't involve me buying them from OU and having to sit with a bunch of sooner fans?

Have a season ticket holder buy them for you. Student season ticket holders can. I bought Iowa tickets in '08.

    Good to know. Thanks.

Edit: Just found out my little brother bought season tickets last week. Guess I know how I'm getting my away game tickets.

    Re: Away Games

I've bought road games from the ticket office for Mizzou in '05, KState in '06, and Iowa in '08. Other road games we either got tickets from players (one of my buddies was Josh Raven's neighbor), or bought them through the other school.

I will say this, ESPECIALLY IN THE SOUTH: Sit with Cyclones. We were thrown out of Floyd-Casey in 2008 (snuck back in) and threatened to be kicked out of Kyle Field last fall. In Floyd-Casey, some Baylor fans called the police because they noticed we had each brought in a beer, and at Kyle some lady three rows back called the cops because my buddy dropped an F-bomb when Tiller overthrew a wide-open Jake Williams on the first series.

Sat with Cyclones at Mizzou, KState, and Nebraska, and it was a blast.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

Seriously who cares if you bring in a few beers. As long as you are not beligerent or vomitting on everyone mind your own business. I have friends who have smuggled in 8 or more cans of beer per person into ISU games. We might have gotten some sidelong glances, but noone called security on us.

I understand being miffed at a blatant F-bomb, but ask someone to stop before you call the cops on them. That's crazy.

This is what I bought them for going through the ISU Cyclone Club. You wont find a better price.

Correct. Single-game prices listed on opponent sites:

    Oklahoma vs ISU: $77
    Texas vs ISU: $75
Colorado vs ISU: $65 (10-yard line); $50 (goal line/end zone); $30 (beyond end line)
