    Re: US Diversity

I believe diversity is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.

No, diversity is a mix of ethnicities, right?

    Re: US Diversity

I highly doubt if the network is concerned about the lack of an old, old wooden ship..

In all seriousness, I don't know any US Diversity classes.. I carried my requirements in from high school

I took AESHM 379 (Community Leadership) last fall and it was the easiest class I had at ISU. The class focuses on critical thinking.

    Re: US Diversity

Actually, HDFS 276 (human sexuality) might be one of the easiest and most interesting/entertaining classes at ISU.
Religion 210, I've heard was easy.
I took Women's Studies 201, and I regret every second of it. The teacher I had was a huge women's rights activist and she gave me a D because my views were slightly different than hers and I spoke my opinion. Stay AWAY!

I loved my womens studies class at ISU. It was nothing but arguing with feminists all day long, and their arguments were so easy to just tear apart. When they got into the section about how great Margaret Sanger was, I just had a field day.

That's pretty much what my class was, except it was mainly me vs the teacher (while the other students listened and laughed) and she hated me. She gave me a freakin D, because she didn't agree with my opinions..
I guess it's an easy class and all, just don't get stuck with a teacher like mine.

Nope, I had an open minded teacher, she hated me, but I think she ended up respecting the arguments.

    Re: US Diversity

Most classes really depend on the teacher.. I took Religious Studies 210 and had a terrible teacher and did terrible. Ive heard others say that their teacher didn't care and it was the easiest class ever. I would check your options for classes and then let this site help you make the decision along with other peoples experience..

Or just keep your mouth shut, participate when you're forced to, realize that arguing with a power tripping ***** won't change the world, and collect your free A.

    I fricken miss college.

A lot of the points in that class were earned through class participation and open class discussions.
