Grillers & Smokers: Frontier Brand Lump Charcoal

Avoid this stuff at all costs. I bought a $15 bag at Sam's Club and this stuff is crap. I've spent the last 2 hours trying to get these softball size pieces to light in my BGE.

Only lump charcoal I've ever had problems starting.

Re: Grillers & Smokers: Frontier Brand Lump Charcoal

I just got done smoking my first set of ribs on my Egg. I use the GBE Lump coal for the extra $5 or what ever its worth it. The ribs were outstanding. Im glad to hear the generic bran is not worth it. Thanks for the info.
