Kansas City hotels for Arrowhead game

Has anyone found any good deals? Best I could find around the stadium on Hotwire is $79 bucks. Do you think that's the same hotel that had the $49 deal last year?

I know several Clone fans that are booked around there and we are contempleting it as well. It makes the most sense IMO. It is not like you can walk to the game from anywhere (generally speaking) so you might at well stay downtown so you can at least have the advantage of walking to and from hotel to Friday night Cyclone events scheduled at the Power and LIght District (not to mentioned having that access if you're staying Saturday night too). Also, I always like to stay where there's the biggest concentration of Cyclone fans, and I think this will be your best bet.

We've had about a dozen of these threads the past month. Someone should just combine them all and make it a sticky so people don't have to keep giving the same suggestions out every time...

I swear you could have 3 threads on this topic stickied at the top of the page, bold and flashing font, and you'd still get a new thread -- "Hey, where's everyone staying in KC?!"

The "search" feature is probably the most underutilized tool in the history of internet bulletin boards/forums.

I have never understood why people get so worked up about people starting new threads about similar topics as ones that have been previously created. If someone does dig up an old thread people jump on them for resurrecting a old thread. No one forced you to open or read it.

My friends are staying at the Marriott in Downtown. We got in at $129 a night, which is not bad in my book. Looking forward to a sea of Cardinal and Gold in the P&L District like last year.

I've got a group of 6 staying at the Westin. Walking distance to P&L and it was only 109 a night through Hotels.com. Only rooms with 2 double beds available.

The only advantage to the hotels around the stadium is that you save $25 in parking. Power and Light is the way to go or the Plaza.

P&L - Hilton President (3 Stars), Holiday Inn (2 Stars), Marriott Downtown (2 Stars), Crown (3 Stars)..... but you're close to an awesome party!

Plaza - Intercontinental (5 Stars), Hilton Garden (4 Stars), Marriott Country Club (3 Stars)... If you or your spouse like to shop - stay here. Generally you'll find some good deals through hotels.com or hotwire.

Otherwise... there is the crappy Best Western Near Kelly's....

Its a home game for me!

Holiday Inn Aladdin in the P&L.

Stayed at the Sheraton next to the stadium last year. It was an alright hotel and close but we're going to make a whole weekend out of it and would rather stay where we drink.

Stayed near the Plaza a half of dozen times. Great for shopping but not for drinking.

As a side note, for a great breakfast http://www.kateskitchenkc.com/ . The cinnamon roll probably added to inches to my mid section and not the part where you'd like.
