DALLAS...JASPER...MARSHALL...POLK...POWESHIEK...STORY AND TAMA. IN SOUTH CENTRAL IOWA...APPANOOSE...LUCAS...MADISON... MAHASKA...MARION...MONROE AND WARREN. IN SOUTHEAST IOWA... DAVIS AND WAPELLO. IN WEST CENTRAL IOWA...CARROLL...CRAWFORD... GREENE AND GUTHRIE.
    * FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING
    * SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR THROUGH EARLY EVENING. MODERATE RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS. WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP LATER THIS EVENING AND PERSIST OVERNIGHT AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES ACROSS THE STATE. HEAVY RAINFALL IS LIKELY TO ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS WHERE RAINFALL RATES OF TWO TO THREE INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE AT TIMES. TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS BY SATURDAY MORNING WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 3 INCHES WITH SOME LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
