    New tailgate stuff?

So what's on your shopping list this year?

I've had the same seats for the last 10 years. Any ideas for some durable chairs?

I'm embarrassed to admit that I haven't had this out in 3 years or so.

We've had a Yamaha generator for the last 3 or 4 years. It works great. I don't know how many watts it is but it's pretty quiet. Don't forget to pack a power strip.

I'd like to build something like this but I'm not very confident in my wiring skills.

Got an ISU tailgating tent, and will have my ISU bags game to use for the full season.

    Re: New tailgate stuff?

Anyone know where to get an inexpensive canopy that is fairly sturdy? I'd like to get one, but I don't want to spend $200, and the really cheap ones seem like they won't take much wind at all. Thanks.

I bought an ISU one before the Iowa game in IA City 2 years ago and would pay $200 for it again. They show your team pride and are nice to have on both sunny and rainy days. I have also used it for many other occasions as well. I would recommend breaking down and buying one.

Have they allowed you to use that at tailgating? Last year I had ours laying in the back of the truck and the cops said I needed to put it out of sight because it was not allowed at tailgating. I guess they look at it as promoting binge drinking???

    Re: New tailgate stuff?

We put ISU plates on the RV but that may be the extent of anything major really. We upgraded the sound system the past 2 years plus have put money into just maintaining it so don't see any major investments in the tailgate stuff anytime soon. We already have plenty of games and a couple tents.
