    Article:What's wrong with college basketball?

I saw this on the ESPN website. 20 coaches participated in a survey involving college hoops.

Good article but I think it could have been shortened up a bit.

great read. Makes me wonder if Hoiberg constantly talking about the NBA to recruits could end up badly.

Nobody has posted this yet, but you were most likely the first to post it in the football forum.

"We don't coach anymore,'' one coach said. "This job isn't about coaching. It's about acquiring talent.''
When was college coaching ever not about aquiring talent?

Re: Article:What's wrong with college basketball?

Along with the coach who called the women, "the gestapettes," another said, "If the NCAA was serious, they'd hire someone who knew what they were doing, not these women out here trying to get a husband.''

    LOL. Ouch.

Awesome article. I think that despite being anonymous, the coaches still held back. It sounded to me like when YOU have a problem and you tell someone "I have this friend". All the coaches seem to say "I don't do this....but I know it is going on right now".

Something like this makes me wonder if Coach Freddy really knows what he is getting into. I suspect he does because he has been around the professional game. I'm betting he has seen about everything.
