Bulls: A Face From the Past Returns

Good story on Marcus Fizer's journey back to the NBA

Bulls: A Face From the Past Returns | HOOPSWORLD.com | NBA News and Information | powered by Basketball News Services

" The man who, according to DraftExpress - NBA Draft, NCAA/International Basketball Website., dominated the workout and “created his own shot at will, both from the perimeter or inside the post, showing incredibly quick feet and a terrific knack for finding his way to the basket… His turnaround jumper looked virtually unstoppable, elevating decently off the ground and displaying fantastic touch. [He] was just a load in the post to anyone who tried to guard him, putting his rear-end into his man and clearing him out of the way at will to get to virtually wherever he wanted on the floor.” "

    "
But apparently he’s back, and he’s looking very sharp. Draftexpress.com said about a third of the league was present to watch Fizer, but most definitely among them was a representative for the Chicago Bulls."

Cool... glad to see he is still striving to play. Hopefully he will make a roster next year and make an impact on that team.

Any Stinson sightings in Netherlands or Spain or Greece yet? If he can develop a better outside shot, he could make it to the NBA.

He's got some nice clips on youtube from this past year overseas. Looks like he's healthy and finally turning the corner. That guy can play in the NBA, no question about it.

Considering how desperate the Bulls are for a low post scorer, that's very interesting.

You said it. Shoot... if he could help them out there, that'd be amazing.

That's great for Marcus. He has such tremendous talent, that I was shocked that he didn't make an impact in the NBA. Hopefully he will get his chance.

Yeah.. and I'm sure Skiles would be a good fit for him. Get him to work on some defense and such. Plus, the Bulls are all about guys who are gonna work hard. Someone like Fizer is going to know that, since that's what he's had to do, and he'll be around other guys who have done the same, like Deng.

Great for Marcus. It will, however, break my heart to hear "Fizer scores with an assist from Hinrich".

Would you rather Hinrich get an assist from Miles??
