    A Summer Under McDermott?

I wonder what type of summer program GMac installs for his players. How much do you think everyone improve? Or will they? Who do you think will improve the most?

If Wesley Johnson shows marked improvement we are in for a fun year next year. Can Jiri improve even more than he did last winter? Can Corey Johnson pickup more post moves and get even bigger? Can one of the new guys coming in get comfortable and possibley make a run for an all Big 12 team?

I actually hope Rashon improves the most. The part of his game that really needs work is ball handling, making a move, and getting to the rim. If he can do that, and get comfortable in the half courts he will be tough next year.

I'm really anxious to see how this team will improve and what this team will be next year. The potential is definitely there...

    Re: A Summer Under McDermott?

I've been curious about this myself. I saw a lot of improvement from December to March with guys in season, learning on the fly. The only problem I see is we have so many newcomers again, which could cause similar problems that we had last year early on.

Hopefully they are all introduced to a summer of chicken, steak, protein shakes, creatine, and the weight bench.

I wouldn't mind Marcus Fizer coming back and showing this team what working out and lifting weights can do for a person. That's one thing this team needs. Just a big guy with muscle down low. It's amazing how much better a team is with somebody that can just bully people around.

minus creatine that is terrible stuff and no one should EVER take it. its is extremely dangerous and i serisouly advise any one on this site that uses it to stop. imediately you will lose strength but if you just work out eat protine and drink water you will gain it back and keep it longer.

Learn how to spell protein and someone might actually believe you know what you are talking about when it comes to healthy supplementation. Creatine is safe and several long term studies have verified it. I suppose you don't eat steak because it has the dreaded creatine in it.

    Re: A Summer Under McDermott?

    Hey Drive4Cy,

I agree with your concern regarding the newcomers. If we can have Jiri, Wesley, and MT as consistent scorers, this can take a lot of pressure off of our Point guard.

We definitely need our returning players to show improvement and step up next year.... they need to play like they are all veterens.

Creatine is perfectly safe and works great. The only way it doesn't work is if you already eat tons and tons of meat and your body is already drenched with creatine or if you are using it wrong. Other wise if you want to bulk up and get strong take creatine and protein together and you'll be packing on muscle like crazy as long as you working out the right way, working out hard, and eating right.

    Complete BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took creatine my junior and senior year in high school and then all 5 years while playing fb at ISU. Not once did I experience any of the so called side effects from it. I will always stand by this stuff and defend it. See I have a very high metabolism and I could have been in the weight room for 10 hours a day and that alone would not have helped me as much as creatine did.
