Parents who've seen Toy Story 3

Does it have enough going on to keep a 3 year old boy entertained? He's your typical 3 year old....active and doesn't listen when I tell him to be quiet. My daughter wants to go and I can't decide if this should be the time that I try to take him with or if I should get a sitter.

    Thanks.

My 2.5 year old son sat through it okay, as well as my 4.5 year old daughter. There were some parts that were pretty scary for them though.

Yeah I would think so. Does he like that kind of animation at home? One thing I would take into consideration is there are a couple frighting images that might not settle well.

Lots of really young kids in the theater when we went and they weren't bothering anyone.

Took my 2inamonth year old and my 4 yearold and they both sat through and the younger one laughed at a lot of stuff even though I don't think she had any idea why she was laughing

My 5 year old got scared. it was a good movie and he enjoyed it in the beginning but the "intimidation" aspect of the cuddly strawberry-smelled bear and his gang scared him.

Next time you get scared just take off the 3D glasses and everything will be ok bos.

Re: Parents who've seen Toy Story 3

My daughter is going to be 3 in Sept and she is VERY busy, and she sat through it just fine and kept the 3D glasses on for 3/4 of the movie, so I'd say it's worth a shot.

Re: Parents who've seen Toy Story 3

We took my 2 year old son (25 months actually) and he sat through it just fine. He loves Toy Story though...we went the 2D not the 3d.

One piece of advise there were 5 previews and the light/dark cartoon showtime was 420pm and did actually start the movie until 448pm.

I would recommend giving it a shot..

Re: Parents who've seen Toy Story 3

I took our 6 year olds, they loved it. We also brought our 4 year old, he was bored 15 min, and was crawling over everyone. Finally gave him the DS I brought in my pocket just in case, he played that the rest of the movie.

    I would vote no.

Re: Parents who've seen Toy Story 3

We took the 5 and 3 year old. We went to an afternoon matinee, so the 3 year old napped through part of it, otherwise it might have been too long for him. As has been said, some of it is scary for young kids. Overall it worked out well for us.

We took my three year old who is also very active and he sat nicely and was into the whole movie, except for a couple minutes after the popcorn was gone.

I was thinking that if we went I'd have to get the large popcorn and pop combo. He'll go through that by himself.

Thanks for the input everybody. I'll have to see what kind of mood he's in when I get home tonight and decide from there.
