WBB Recruiting: New 2011 commit out of KC

I've learned that Iowa State picked up their third women's basketball comittment for the 2011 class yesterday and she is a good one.

Her name is Brynn Williamson, a 6-foot prospect out of Staley High School in North Kansas City.

As a junior, Williamson was named to Missouri's Class 4 All-State Team according to the Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association. Her team finished last season with a record of 20-8, ranked sixth in the state.

I will work on compiling some more information about Brynn in the coming days.

    Chris,

most of the info on Brynn will be from her stellar 8th and 9th grade years.
They were suppose to be doing a new profile on her this summer (if done I have not seen it) so hopefully you can get that one so people will be more up to date.

BF really really likes. She is the go go motor with great athleticism from multiple sports including a great trackster in her youth

Any recruit picked up by BF is a good one. Even our players on our scout team could be a starter at a different college.

You know, I'm as big a fan of BF as anyone else, but this simply is not true. BF, like any coach, has had his recruiting busts. Besides, his scout team is a bunch of men. That's who the girls practice against.

I don't think some of the players on the bench last year would start for too many other colleges, unless it was at the division II level.

Sounds like a good one. Players with motors that never stop (Stuckey, Poppens) are always good to have.

SWEET - Staley High School is 1 mile from my house. I'll have to check her out this year.
