    Manhattan, KS

I've been reading this site for awhile, but I decide to register and post because I'm looking for some advice from some fellow cyclone fans. I'm trying to get a feel for Manhattan, KS as I could be moving there. I graduated from ISU in 2007, started working in Ames and I now have the opportunity to transfer to our Manhattan branch.

I'm looking for input in terms of the town itself, nightlife, and KSU. I have the potential to go back to school at KSU, so any advice would be helpful.

Thanks in advance and Go Cyclones!

My brother lives there, just took a job at Ball State in Indiana, but has a place there. He has lived there for 4 years working at KState. I am going to PM you.

Quote from imported_blubberhawk on HN after ISU beatdown of Iowa in Carver '14

"When you lose to a fricking joke of a program like ISU, you get what you deserve. That game is a perfect illustration of why our head coach should be retired.
In defense of the Big ten network, it is tough to find Iowa games anymore when we aren't embarrassed."

place is horrible, but hay your only and hour and a half out of Topeka!!!!!!!*

    *-which is also horrible.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

wrong buddy, lived in Kansas for over 20 years. The reason I hate Kansas so much, is because it is horrible.
