This bowl has got to go. There have to be lots of cities further south that would love a bowl game, and one where fans would actually want to go. A bowl should not be punishment, but a celebration of an average or even above average season.

At least it's the ACC and WAC that have to worry about this sorry excuse for a bowl.

I don't know. I think we were duly punished with a Humanitarian Bowl berth after an awful finish to a once-promising 2002 season...

I think if I was on a team that was destined to go to Boise with a win in the final game of the season, I would pull a Ronny Harmon.

actually before we lost that game it was the best bowl trip I have been on since insight...great town, great people. Yeah it wasn't warm but you can't beat beer and an outdoor hot tub when it is snowing.

I enjoyed Boise and the game would have been fine if ISU were playing someone other than the home team. It seems like much of the complaining about our last two bowl games came from people that did not attend.

I did not attend, but the reason I did not go to that bowl was because of the location. We went to Jamaica instead. Had the bowl been in Texas, Florida, Ariz, etc, we would have gone.

Hey watch it there buddy, that "punishment" of a bowl was one of the five bowls in six years mantra that was repeated every third sentence by our previous football coach to demonstrate how strong of a football program that he, and he alone, developed at the Iowa State University. The other two sentences, because there were only three total, were how small the budget was, and how we made the Iowa game a rivalry again.

Let's see who I can get a rise out of that one with, this board needs a good argument, I fear that the people on here are losing their touch with all of this right wing agreement on all things political. I would hate for everyone on here to get soft before next Fall when we begin to debate the merits of Gene Chizik.

I think it should be illegal to have a bowl north of the Mason-Dixon line. Cold weather bowls are BS.

Yeah, we skipped that bowl and went to Maui. I got a good laugh out of hawkeye fans who tried to rub it in about going to Florida.

See, I gotta go with the beach and some type of foo foo drink that after consuming two, you start falling down. But I really am not a cold weather person, so I will just agree to disagree.

But I think that it is safe to say that a trip to Boise f^#^$&g Idaho is not part of ANY team's preseason goals.
