Is anyone else sick of all of the Nebraska-Texas talk on there? Holy cow...

I think it sucks to have to hear about Nebraska when they're leaving. I wish ESPN could get away with simply ignoring their existence...like we do

Even with all the Neb/Tx love I still prefer Ubben over Griffin.

If nothing else those two schools are doing a good job of building this game up. There is a good chance both will be undefeated (if Texas can beat OU), and with the help of ESPN this game will be hyped up to be something epic. With all that has happened and the talk from both schools leading up to the game, I would be surprised if game day is not in Lincoln for that game.

Lots of free pub for UNL will come from this game.

Say what you want about Tim Griffin....I liked him a heck of a lot better than the guy they have writing the blog now.

    Re: ESPN Big 12 Blog

And why wouldn't a column about the Big 12 Conference have a lot to say about Nebraska and Texas? In the first place, Nebraska is the favorite to win the North and Texas is the co-favorite to win the South (with Oklahoma). Many, if not most, would see this year's Texas-Nebraska game as a possible preview to the Big 12 championship game. Then you throw in the controversial ending of last year's Big 12 championship game between these two teams and you would expect there would be a lot of pre-season hype about a matchup involving them.

It all sounds pretty logical to me. But then, I suppose the columnist could have taken up half of his column talking about Baylor and Colorado. That would have been interesting reading.

To me, it seems that a blog dedicated to an entire conference should talk fairly equally about all of the schools, with maybe a little more on the teams who are projected to do well. But not THIS much more.
