    Purchasing Tickets

I know I've seen countless threads on here about this...but here's yet another.

I had planned on purchasing 15 tickets (at $65 each) for the ISU-CU game in November. However, I'm not a Cyclone Club member.

So, now I'm going to have to give my $975 to those pot-smoking hippies instead. I hate funding the Pac-10.

    Bull crap.

Enjoy being poor forever Iowa State.

Did you actually call the ticket office? Away game ticket orders come with the season ticket orders and they were due in April. I'm betting that the ticket office would let you buy 15 tickets if the ISU allotment isn't sold out. Of course, if you are not in the ISU system at all (never bought season tickets) they wouldn't know you from a CU fan.

I agree. If anyone really wanted to go to an away game, they could use my name and order tickets. I'd just walk into the ticket office with the person, take the money and hand it to the person at the counter. It would help my NCC points. We'd just have to set up a meeting time for when I got the tickets in the mail.

We always scalp at CU. Always sit on the 50, and pay less than face value. If they bomb this year, it will be really cheap.

    Re: Purchasing Tickets

According to the ticket office the deadline is tomorrow.

I called them last week and they didn't say anything about being a Cyclone Club Member. I'm going to try to figure something out.

EDIT: My dad is a Cyclone Club member, and, apparently, I just say I'm him but use my credit card. Seems a little suspect...but yeah.

I don't understand why students, who pay athletics fees, can't be classified as donors (at least to purchase tickets). Once you graduate, I understand the rationale, but this is the second time I've encountered this runaround.
