    Peavy Suffers Detached Lat

So, he detached his latissimus dorsi muscle last night. Chris DeLuca says the Sox will now go after a starter.

Don't worry Twins fans, we can't beat your offer for Lee.

I bet the Mariners would take Gordon Beckham and a prospect for him, if you think you can win this year.

Watch out for my Royals, only 7 games under .500!!!!

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

Marquez is up to relieve the pen. Pena won't ever be a starter.

Hudson will fill in in the meantime. He's been destroying AAA lately. His last 9 starts: 53 IP, 2.04 ERA, 18 BB, 60 K, 34 hits allowed. It might be his spot for the rest of the year.

Jenks looked good, a little rusty but good for missing so much time so this doesnt worry me so much now having Marquez up

Kenny Williams isn't afraid to make a move. Wouldn't be surprised to see them pick up somebody like Ricky Nolasco or something.

Williams also isn't afraif to deal with the Cubs. I could see Lilly getting traded there as well

Interesting idea. Not sure if I like him in the AL though.

nope, Lilly's stuff might get knocked around in the AL a bit.

Didn't he pitch for the Blue jays before going to the Cubs?

Lilly wasn't anything better than mediocre for the Jays and Yanks.

Guarantee you hear rumors of a Lilly and Derrek Lee to the Sox deal now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Zambrano to ChiSox deal done now.

It could happen, but the Cubs would have to swallow nearly all of the contract. And I'd still rather have Dan Hudson.
