At #63 is Christian French from Cedar Rapids Kennedy listed as a 6'6''/220 lb linebacker. Is ISU in the running?

ISU is in the running insofar as everyone else is in the running with the Kenyans in a Boston Marathon.

He did not grow up a Hawkeye fan even though he is from CR. He is rumored to be very interested in ND, Iowa, and possibly Wisconsin. His rating is based strictly on potential. He ran one of the faster times in the state in the 100 meters this spring. Word is he has hands of stone and most schools are looking at him for the defensive side of the ball. I read something very early in the spring that said don't count CPR and ISU out of it, but I can't recall where I saw that.

I would rather have one of our other early offers, Georgio Newberry, who comes in at #66. We need defensive linemen that can get to the QB.

i'll take anybody with talent that wants to come to ISU

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.
