    Kobayashi Arrested

If you didn't think professional eating was a sport...Kobayashi has been having a contract dispute with his organization and now he's getting arrested at the "Super Bowl" of professional eating.

He's the reason that Nathans hot dog eating contest has become relevant. No one really paid attention to it until Kobayashi ate a **** ton of hot dogs.

    Re: Kobayashi Arrested

    y did he get arrested?

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

He was probably just hungry and climbed up onto the stage to get a hot dog or 2. Or maybe 60.

They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.

Nathan's hot dogeatin contest...crowded, hot & full of uglies! Like McDonald's but outdoors and on ESPN

I was there...he wasn't on stage but they did show him on the jumbotron taunting Chestnut a few times to the delight of the crowd...

    It is kind of WWE-ish.

All you need is Jim Ross: "What...OH MY GOD! That's KOBAYASHI's music!"

Also, the fact that each of these competitors feel the need to have nick names adds to the WWE similarities.

Also the fact that he is wearing a Free Kobi t-shirt. Who plans ahead and wears a shirt like that knowing he is getting arrested?

Luckily he didn't compete. How would you like to be the cell mate of a guy that just downed 60 hot dogs?

Plus the belt, replete with pepto bismol ads on it...which chestnut promptly drank upon finishing
