    Lacey w/Bird out

Looks like Aus is getting 10 -12 minutes; hasn't hit a three yet and is committing a lot of fouls-fouling out. Two things very uncharacteristic of Aus.

Some of the fouls were actually not fouls, especially the last one. The crowd booed the refs and the commentators even said that she was actually hacked by Silver Stars player.
I am not sure why she hasn't shot yet - probably Agler instructed her to be a passer instead of a shooter.

Also, I imagine it takes a certain span of time to adjust from shooting against players like Kamille Wahlin to shooting against players with the skill and experience of Sue Bird, etc.

If it is like the NBA there are two sets of standards for foul, that given the veteran players or stars and that given rookies. I think in the NBA it is actually forbidden for rookies to actually guard anyone without getting a foul called on them.

This was actually voiced when Aus guarded Lindsay Whalen against The Lynx. It was an offensive foul but Aus was called for a foul. In most cases in NBA and WNBA, there are some preferential treatments for the "stars"
