Tracking Population Changes in/out of U.S. Counties

Here's an interesting link from Forbes.com that shows population change in to and out of any county in the US:

Map: Where Americans Are Moving - Forbes.com

Black lines depict movement into that county. Red lines depict movement out of that county. Be sure to check out Story and Polk Counties. It's also worth seeing the mass migration out of Detroit, and the huge growth of the North Carolina Triangle (where I moved to) in Wake and Durham County, NC.

Who are the other 38 people that moved from King Co, WA to Polk Co, IA?

We are flying to Des Moines on Friday. I will bring a Double Double (Animal Style) to plant in the ground in Des Moines. With the proper amount of rain, sunlight and care... an In and Out may just sprout one day.

I wouldn't mind if a Five Guys Burgers and Fries decided to come with that In and Out Burger.

Williamson, Travis and Bexar county, TX are also crazy growth in flows - Austin and San Antonio. Good omen for the ol' house value. Also explains why Dakota and Ramsey county, MN did to my old house value what they did!

That map interface is brilliant because of its simplicity.

It's funny that everyone from the upper NE moves to Florida or L.A..

That's probably because they don't know where anything else is.

You can spend a lot of time and money picking out the perfect floral bouquet for your date ... but you're probably better off checking if you have bad breath and taking the porn out of the glove compartment.
