    Forecast: Early Big 12 standings

I did this a couple months ago and made minor adjustments since.

This was done game-by-game for each team, so it took into account conference rotation, game sites and non-conf schedule.

(Sorry if my columns don't align wasn't sure my tabs would transfer from word document)

    NORTH
    Nebraska 6-2 10-2
    Missouri 5-3 9-3
    Kansas State 3-5 6-6
    Iowa State 3-5 5-7
    Kansas 2-6 5-7
    Colorado 1-7 3-9
    SOUTH
    Texas 7-1 11-1
    Oklahoma 7-1 10-2
    Oklahoma State 5-3 9-3
    Texas Tech 4-4 8-4
    Texas A&M 4-4 7-5
    Baylor 1-7 3-9

Seems pretty fair. Who do you have Texas and Oklahoma losing to?

I unfortunately lost my original W/L file and have to go strictly from the schedules ... I have UT beating OU for the tiebreaker, and UT losing at Nebraska. However, in my original, that had NU at 7-1 instead of 6-2 (that's where the minor tweaks may have messed up the integrity of the original).

I have never loved a post so much in my entire life.

Nebraska fan: Losing our best defensive player and the best DT in ten years will not make us any worse. Actually we have player xxxxxx who is going to step in and be even better. Just wait for this new recruit he is gonna be so good.

This one good year is making husker fans think that they are "Nebraska" again.

I have ISU beating KSU, which would technically give us the tiebreaker but I used overall record for ordering in this case, because that would make KSU bowl-eligible and ISU not.

But you're probably saying ISU trumps KSU outright in the standings. That's where the individual team schedules apply. KSU's losses, as I have them: ISU, Nebraska, OSU, Texas, Missouri.

I'm confused. Are you talking about Iowa fans or Nebraska fans? I can't tell the difference anymore...

Exactly, my favorite was a caller a few weeks ago on Matt & Miller. He said well we lost 7 starters on defense, all of which were the heart of our defense but we still have Crick, and we return everyone on offense, impressive, no additions on offense or losses to an offense that was beyond bad, and a quarterback who was not even rated in the top 12 of Big 12 quarterbacks, in fact he is so bad, they had both Texas Tech quarterbacks onm instead of putting him dead last.
