    Single game tickets

Unfortunately I live too far away for season tickets, but I'd like to get at least tickets for the UNI game. Any idea on when these would be available?

Far-fetched idea : assuming the stadium reaches full capacity, what if you could purchase some type of webcast access? - so someone in Ohio or California could watch the Clones through the internet if they wanted. This would be like a PPV system.

Check out the Clone Zone on Cyclones.com They aren't quite doing webcasts of everything yet, but they do selected men's and women's bball live, and have every football game (in a condensed, game film format) available to watch. So you could watch they games on a several hour delay without any commercials. I don't subscribe, but I only live an hour away.

TV contracts really limit the types of events that can be streamed live, even if the stadium is full. That probably won't change for some time. It's all in the "exclusivity" clauses and such.

Please Select One of the Following

I love how they say "If Available." That would be 50,000 plus season tickets sold!! Now that's being optimistic!!!

No. JP has set an arbitrary limit on season ticket sales at around 40K or lower. If I can find the article where he says that, I'll link it.

Have to keep in mind visiting team alotments and apparently tent sales mean more than season tickets, so they're holding back those as well. That's something like 4K and 7K tickets taken off the top, right there.

But, presuming the guess-timated 4K and 7K are correct, and given last years record game attendances of 55K and change, even using the 40K limit leaves around 4K ticket "unaccounted" for. So I was a little confused by his statement (or math) as well.

    Who are you responding to?

Regardless, you're just flat out wrong. Single game tix will be sold for all games except Iowa.

Usually they don't go on sale, I believe, until August when season tix are usually wrapped up. Donors and season ticket holders just got single game order forms last week.

    come on, he's being sarcastic...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
