Craig Brackins is a CLASS ACT all the way. New Orleans and their fans are going to love him. Thanks for all you did for ISU Craig! I think #21 deserves to hang from the rafters at Hilton someday.

That team got a good man, and he will represent ISU in a first class way.

Great interview. If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times, but we are lucky to have such a good guy representing Iowa State. It's nice that someone who had a lot of reasons to put Iowa State behind him, hasn't done that. Lord knows that some of our fans have done that.

I really appreciate how CB always represents ISU even when he may have hurt himself by coming back to help our program his jr. year. He will be a cyclone for life

Re: Craig Brackins post draft interview

In the end things didn't turn out too bad for Craig! He could have potentially been a lottery pick around 11, 12 or 13 in 2009 or been right around where he ended up getting drafted tonight. So it is really great to see everything turn out alright for a great Cyclone. Thanks for three years Craig. Now it is time to tear up New Orleans!

Kind of interesting that Craig ends up in a place where a former Cyclone has pull (Tim Floyd) and Wesley ends up at a place where a former and current Cyclone (Fred Hoiberg) did most of the pre-draft scouting.

Folks, they don't make 'em any more classy than Craig Brackins.

Congratulations, CB. We wish you all the best. Keep making us proud!

    Absolutely.

What a quality individual...in addition to being a quality player. Frankly, all of the supposed fans that have taken the time to come on here and bang on Craig's loyalty to ISU and / or his abilities on the court sicken me...really not fans in my book.

This kid showed a lot of loyalty to ISU coming back for last season when he could have been drafted a year ago. It's safe to say that the season probably didn't work out like he had hoped and dreamed it would...that is not his fault. He did everything he could for the Cyclones...most of the time with 2 or 3 guys draped over him from the other team.

I am anxious to see what he looks like with CP3 and Collison feeding him the ball...with the other team being more concerned about where D. West is than CB. I believe he is going to be a very solid long term pro.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Re: Craig Brackins post draft interview

He is SOoooooo well spoken and has such a pleasant demeanor. I've never met Craig personally but he seems like a great guy. I'm so happy he got what he deserved despited his college career of no NCAAs. Congrats to him!!!

Re: Craig Brackins post draft interview

It's really too bad he never got to the NCAAs. He really deserved it. Quality player, quality person.

I'll miss Craig in an ISU uniform, but i will always wish him the best of luck to him in the NBA.

Assuming that Paul sticks around, which isn't looking terribly likely. Unfortunately I think he got drafted into a big re-building situation. Not Clippers bad, but not great.
