Scheduling in the new Big 12?

Will the ISU/KSU game in K.C. become an annual game?

With 9 conference games teams are going to have 5 home games one year and 4 home games the next.

I wonder if you all will make your game with KSU in Arrowhead an annual game? This would give you and K-State four home games, four away games, and one neutral site game.

That is also I'm sure the set up Missouri/Kansas will use with the border war in K.C. and Oklahoma/Texas with the red river rivalry in Dallas.

That would give the new conference the following neutral games.

The Border War - Missouri vs. Kansas in K.C.
The Red River Rivalry - Oklahoma vs. Texas in Dalls
Farmageddon - Iowa State vs. Kansas State in K.C.

Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M would be the only teams not using this scheduling model and I'm sure a Tech/A&M game would be appealing for a neutral site.

I would assume that as long as the paycheck keeps rolling in to have us play in KC, we'll keep playing there.

Might be a way to keep Jerry Jones from getting his panties in a bunch (no more Big 12 champ game) if those games were played at his place, although I don't see an Ok State-Baylor game filling up Jerry's World. A&M and Tech could pull it off.

This. I'm still a fan of having ISU/KSU and Mizzou/KU on back to back days at the end of the season.

    For "I", for "S", forever!
For Iowa State all the way.
Let's go! To show them what the gang's all here for,
Go! To show them how the Cyclones cheer.
    For "I", for "S", forever!
For Iowa State do it right!
It's time to climb up on the vict'ry wagon,
    Fight! Iowa State, Fight! Fight!

That's something I never thought of before. From a financial standpoint that will keep revenue from each year consistent. I would be for it.

Re: Scheduling in the new Big 12?

I had thought of this idea last week. I think it's a good idea to keep the home/away conference schedules balanced throughout the league, and it wouldn't be hard to do since most of the teams already have a neutral site game.

However, isn't Snyder against playing Farmageddon in KC? If it's making both schools money I would imagine both our AD's are in favor of it, so it could be interesting to see who wins that debate in Manhattan.
