    Taylor Greenfield ESPN article

Really want to see Taylor in an ISU jersey. Sounds really dedicated to improving herself and her game.

She would make for a great addition.

Great story....I am more anxious to see her commit to ISU than anyone in recent memory for for the Twister Sisters. She is the type of talent and attitude that can get her jersey hanging from the roof of Hilton, and help get 4 more team NCAA banners hanging as well.

This is a big recruiting month, hopefully to cement Taylor Greenfield's committment. No way can we let a big-time recruit in our own backyard go elsewhere.

Well Stanford just gor payne another 6' 2" player who they must have had ahead of her in wants so hopefully this will show Taylor that she is our #1 and will be a star here at ISU

If Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis is really 6-0, then Greenfield is taller than 6-2 if that picture depicts them accurately.

Greenfield is usually listed at 6'3".

Thank you for that info. As I've said before, for a player with Greenfield's offensive skills and preferences (great outside shooter, likes to stop and pop, doesn't look for contact but will drive if needed), Fennelly's motion and screening offense is made to order for her. No other school will feature her talent more than ISU's. Top that with our tremendous crowds (10,000+ vs. Stanford's 4,200) and the celebrity status women's bb players enjoy here, we seem to have too many attributes for Taylor to say no.

I happen to know that Taylor has been accepted by Stanford and was offered by Stanford over a year ago. She is considering all of her options at this time.

The player you are referring to is a 3/4 type player, completely different than Taylor.

They seem to be similar players, although Payne projects to be a 3 (3G, Wing, or SF, you pick) and Greenfield might be more of a SG/2. The biggest difference seems to be that Payne was forced to play post in high school out of necessity while Ballard has had plenty of decent post players, allowing Greenfield to play guard.

Should be a who's-who of women's coaches in Ames next week for the AIA's Super 16 tournament. Stokes, Greenfield, plus many others are playing. Tons of college coaches will be here. Geno will not, but his top assistant is.

    Re: Taylor Greenfield ESPN article

Erica Payne is a true power forward on the high school level but with Nneka Ogwumike and Chiney Ogwumike at Stanford she will be developed into more of a perimeter player, playing the small forward spot.

She is a high motor player, she's always moving, great hands. Her defense is ahead of her offense at this point. She will hit the open 15 foot jumper but she is not a threat from beyond the arc. She would be considered a "tweener".

From my understanding, Taylor Greenfield is a shooting guard/small forward on the next level, and it sounds as if Taylor and Erica are very different players.

She looks pretty scary in that picture
