    Feeding the addiction

Just popped in the VHS of this year's Nebraska game. Anyone else ready for some football? I'm not sure I can't wait 2+ months.

Things that popped in to my head
    1. did you happen to stub your toe on the time machine as you walked to this 'vhs'?
    2. what does valley high school have to do with this?
    3. I AM SO PROUD TO BE YOUR COACH!

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs

I hear ya. But my VHS is forever... as long as I hang on to my VCR. I won't run out of memory, and I can take it with me. It's kind of an old habit. I have scores of old games on VHS.

    Re: Feeding the addiction

    Couple of thoughts on that:
    1) Nebraska can feel free to remember that their last memory of ISU in Lincoln involves our guys singing our fight song on their field.
    2) Reminiscing over that victory with Jesse Smith's dad is a whole lot of fun (surprise from the airport today )

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

I must have watched my DVR'd copy of that game a dozen times, plus, I must have seen the Youtube video of the eight turnovers, accompanied by Yakety Sax (the Benny Hill music), another half-dozen times.

It never gets old watching the shock and disappointment on the faces of the Nebraska faithful.

    Re: Feeding the addiction

One thing people forget about that game is the ISU offense held the ball for a long time on two 2nd half drives. The o-line started to take over the game. On One drive the NU defense was clearly wilting and there is no doubt in my mind we would have scored had NU not been bailed out by an absolutely terrible cheap holding call on Hamilton that negated a first down. It was a bad call and one of those calls you never see.
