Back room deals in keeping the Big 12 alive

I'm really happy the Big 12 is still alive for now. I think it's the best deal ISU could get for now. I've heard that Texas, A&M and Oklahoma are getting all the cash from Nebraska and Colorado leaving. Now I've heard a rumor that $1 of all our tickets we purchase is going to Texas. Can anyone confirm or deny that? Is there any other back room deals that anyone has heard of?

Where did you hear that our ticket revenue would be given to Texas? I find that extremely hard to believe.

Every now and then you hear a rumor that is just too ridiculous to be true. Those are the ones you shouldn't make new threads about.

    +1

I shouldn't have to rep you for this common sense, but I will.

Yes. I've heard our 5 best players need to suit up for UT when we play them.

    Anyone got any more?

We're on the hook for their coaches' salaries as well. All sports.

Re: Back room deals in keeping the Big 12 alive

I'll pull the fiefdom rights and responsibilities thread into this one and point out that I heard Texas got the right of first night from all of the other Big 12 schools, so be careful to hide your marriages.

The right of the first night / Abstract
