    Re: Regional Conferences

I had the same idea, but it was more like 12 10-team division. This would be good if there was a 16-team playoff system in place. The division winner would get an automatic bid to the playoffs while there would be 4 at-large bids to fill the remaining slots. Each division would play a round robin schedule within the division which leaves three non-division games for each team. That just my theory on how college football should be.

That'd work too. I just gave the top 6-ranked conf. champs byes and did a 10-team playoff...gotta keep a little controversy

My bad, I just wanted to give everybody a fair shake... I guess I forgot this was college football and how it's not an equal opportunity organization.

    Re: Regional Conferences

I asked for your alignment in a previous post, and got it almost immediately.

It's a fun exercise. I'll look at it in-depth later. (I promise not to tear it apart )

My favorite thing so far: That U-M, MSU, et al are in the Mid-American.

So Hawaii gets bumped out of FBS in favor of South Alabama, a team that's not even starting the transition to FBS until 2011?
