T Boone is not a Missouri fan for sure now. This article has a mention of it, but there was also some audio on the radio this morning blasting them for loyalty. I'm paraphrasing, but he said he's loyal to Iowa State, KU, K-State but he doesn't need MU.
As State Rep. Harvey Hilderbran, R-Kerrville — a huge Texas Tech and Big 12 advocate — said Monday, "After all this damage we've had, I kind of feel like I had a change of heart, like it was too late for the Big 12. If we put this together, I wonder if it will be very temporary, but I'd like to keep everybody together."
So would Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri, mainly because they had no other places to go. Sad but true, especially in light of the money that Baylor specifically has invested in its rising athletic program.
Does anyone else find it disheartening that we were forgotten in this list of forgotten teams?
