    New 2009 rankings on rivals

we are on the list with three of the top 40. #8 Jamil Wilson, #17 Royce White, and #30 Elijah Johnson. Hopefully we can get one, looks like we are in good shape with Royce White.

That's awesome! Looks like we're sitting well with all of them. I just hope we pick up someone over 6'7"

This might be a dumb question but how are you able to tell "how we sit" with these guys. I don't see where they are ranking the interest level. Am I missing something?

This staff has really been a pleasant surprise, I dont remember when the last time was when we were in on so many big prospects, once we start winning those prospects in the future are going to be ours

click the "list" link in the far right column and that tells you the schools that are interested in the player and the player's interest level in the school

if i am not mistaking, when you click on there profile the team they are most interested in is the teams that has "insider info box" next to them and is normally on top.. i may be wrong.. but i believe that is where the sitting good is coming from.. also with white we are 1 of 3 teams...

also noticed we are on Nolen Dennis's list.. a 6'5 170 guard

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I think winning is the key as well. We're positioning ourselves for the upper tier players and it will likely take some momentum to start reeling these players in on a consistent basis. A new practice facility wouldn't hurt either

They list schools in priority order. You want to be no worse than third in order.

Let my Fred's Posse Ride: Georges, Naz, Hogue, Bryce, Nader, Monte, Matt, and McKay.

They list schools in alphabetical order within the three potential groupings of high, medium, and low interest.

Your comment about the practice facility is right on the mark. It's one of the worst practice facilities in D1 basketball.

It's just a gut feeling but I think Jamil Wilson will end up at Marquette or Wisconsin.
