Pac-10 commissioner reportedly was the one who announced it.

How about TAMU? Will they throw a wrench in this at the end?

Re: ESPN announces Texas declines Pac-10 Invitation

It is difficult to believe how little The Big East (33M), MWC (25M), Big 12 (87M), and PAC Ten (68M) took in from TV when compared to 200-240M of SEC and Big ten. No wonder people were griping.

CFH HMagic bball season next year.

That is mostly because the Big Ten (BTN) and the SEC just signed new TV deals. As the deals for the current BCS conferences expire and are renegotiated, those numbers will increase for all the conferences. Not likely to the BTN/SEC levels, but they will increase.
