Guess one would have to ask themselves if $10mil/x annually is worth bringing in a school that makes the academics at K-State look top notch...

Considering academic strength doesn't appear to be worth that much in the new reality of college athletics, I say $10 mil is $10 mil.

Who cares about academics at this point. It's about money. Remember?

Re: FedEx to give 10 million a year

Welcome to the FedEx Big 12 Championship Game / FedEx Big 12 Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tourney. Who knows, we could end up with a FedEx logo the floor at Hilton, or on our jerseys.

This is far beyond academics, we all know if this were about academics, Nebby would have never made it to the Big Ten. It's about $$$$$ from TV sets.

Texas wont allow another Texas school in, it has been said several times. Why recruit against more teams from Texas? Big 12 will look East and West.

It would be a good excuse to go to Memphis for some BBQ

Add Memphis and Louisville to the North. It would be a net gain in TV sets over the state of Nebraska and the few people who care about college sports in Colorado.
