    If we go to 12...

Arkansas is a must get in my book. Big time school, with solid athletics, and they are in Big 12 Country. After that get Louisville, Memphis, or Cincy and play ball.

Memphis. Louisville, Cincy are a must, go to 14 teams. Memphis has to have something to do with this "new" tv deal with Fred Ex throwing money around.

Re: If we go to 12...

heres your list of top teams to get for the b12 IMO:
    arkansas
    louisville
    cincy
    tcu
    houston
    memphis
arkansas and cincy are probably top 2 IMO..both bring good football and fairly good basketball teams. the problem with tcu is that it would not bring a good bball team and would almost have to go directly to the south division and we need north teams.

I like the idea of getting Memphis. Big money, good basketball, a football program we can beat :)

TCU wont be in the Big 12 ever, Texas does not want to have more competition for their players.

    Just gop for TV sets:
    Cincy Big Ten Country
    Memphis
    Louisville
    Arkansas

Houston and TCU are in UT viewing areaalready although it might help the new Longhorn UT Network.

Re: If we go to 12...

I would be interested to know what Arkansas position on this would be. Could the Big Texas conference offer more than the SEC? Possibly.
It would help their recruiting in Texas I guess.

I think Louisville would be a good pick up for the North. They have a lot to offer and are would have something to gain.

I am curious about Cincy too. Getting into the state of Ohio would be big, even if it is a market cornered bu the Big 10+2.

Because academics are playing such a large role in the current shuffling.

Its why the Big 10 won't consider some schools. It plays a much bigger role than everyone thinks.

Really? I didn't realize that Nebraska was such a powerhouse in Academics.

They are part of the AAU, which is what the Big 10 requires. Memphis is a tier 4 school.

I just mentioned this in another thread. As long as B12 revenue would match up with SEC then I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Arkansas would seriously consider a switch, their preference being part of the North division. Face it, Arkanas has been pretty much stagnant since they joined the SEC. Just from some of the stuff I've read they feel they could potentionally increase their BCS standings as part of the B12.

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
