    Des Moines Welder

I'm in need of a pretty simple weld job. My wife broke a bracket that holds the muffler on her car. Anyone have a recommendation as I have never had anything welded before.

When I'm getting it welded maybe I can get some inside information on what conference Iowa State will be in.

I don't think this is your normal bracket ... or is it.

I am thinking "bracket" in terms of just a strap or something to go around the muffler and securing it to the frame of the car. If it is indeed that, then yes you can get a universal one at a auto parts store.

Is what you need that or a different type of bracket?

I'm in need of a welder as well for an aluminum utility trailer. Anyone have any recommendations?

Is it welding aluminum or is a steel part on the trailer that needs welding? If steel I can help you if aluminum I have a number of a guy who might be able to help (he's semi-retired but really good).

I know of a good welder but he's located south of Perry, IA which may be a little farther than you want to drive. My dad gets all his farm welding done there and the guy builds some custom grills and things on the side too. Not sure he does alluminum though.

Perry isn't too far. If you get me the contact info I can give him a call.
