HUGE HUGE NEWS HUGE NEWS HUGE HUGE HUGE NEWS

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

    Re: Lew Perkins resigns

Well, at least we don't have a criminal investigation going on in our AD or our AD resigning.

We may end up getting screwed, but it will probably be less screwed because we have a good president and a good AD. I would feel 100% worse if we still had Jischke and Bruce in charge. Or hell, if we had Barta in charge.

I could never figure out the Perkins/Mangino relationship. I seriously think that Perkins had a problem with Mangino's weight. If I was Mangino I would be like: "Dude you look like the corpse off of Tales from the Crypt."

    Re: Lew Perkins resigns

    Weird, what?

Cause is Iowa State IS NOT Kansas....what don't you get? KC is a top 40 media market. Kansas Basketball is Top 3 in the country for programs....Lew Perkins is one of the 50 most powerful men in COLLEGE SPORTS.
The argument works for KU. Not Iowa State.
