When will conference changes take effect?

Can anyone post some insight as to when we will actually see scheduling changes due to conference realignment?

I can't imagine that it will happen earlier than a 2-3 year time frame.

Colorado will likely be 2012. Two more seasons in Big 12. I imagine other schools will have the same timetable.

Elsewhere is has been said 2 more seasons as is. I've seen several media sources say the PAC-# will try to accelerate it to 1 season.
