    Here are the past numbers I could find on the NCAA.org database.

    '05 BB 846 FB 938
    '06 BB 891 FB 933
    '07 BB 852 FB 930
    '08 BB 869 FB 927
    '09 BB 877 FB 935
    '10 BB 907 FB 926

    The numbers I used were a multi-year average and what the NCAA uses to calculate the number used to determine penalties. The cutoff number is 925 and since BB took a hit a few years back they have shown improvement to stop future punishment. This year they listed the individual year numbers for each sport and BB was much higher than I thought it would be at 980 but FB was low at 889.

    It would seem to me that FB is dancing very close to the line and hopefully those numbers will pick up in the next few years with CPR.
