    Jim Rome

God, he is tedious to listen to! I never have before, but just hoping to catch any news that pops up on expansion. I think I'd rather wait until news breaks here.

I listened to him for 15 minutes on my way to a meeting. He talked about Tomlinson getting a tattoo the whole time

Rome is too busy kissing pro a$$es to talk college expansion.

You mean you don't like listening to some guy repeat himself over and over and over with 10 second pauses in between?
His show would only last 15-20 minutes without that.

They say country music speaks to the heart. Unfortunately, it has to go through your ears to get there.

You mean you don't want to get your sports fix from Vic in NOCAL, Brad in Corona, Silk, or some dude in Wichitard?

or, hear him repeat everything he thinks is cool 45 times? His takes sound like a LMFAO- lil jon song, just repeating the same words over and over and over.

    Re: Jim Rome

i used to hate him, still not a huge fan. I think the thing is you are supposed to give him two weeks and after that two weeks you will either love him or hate him...

rome is an acquired taste. you either love him or you hate him. don't just listen once for ten minutes and make your decision based on that. like he says "give me two weeks" then make your decision. odds are if you like sports and you're a dude, you will enjoy at least some of it.

I think he is hillarious. He prolly wont delve in the expansion stuff because it deals with too much speculation.

    Re: Jim Rome

Rome is hilarious. Get over it.
I don't think they keep expanding his market because he sucks.

This. Is Rome a d-bag? Absolutely - that's the appeal. Half the fun is listening to the Clone wanna-be's thinking they're cool, calling in, sucking, getting run, and then getting mocked for sucking.

Completely agree. Did not like him back in the Jim "Chrissy" Everett days...but love him now! He is a riot!

The beauty of it is, is that he makes fun of everyone. Clones and all. Like I said I don't hate him and I dont love him, but the man has some dedicated listeners...

I LOVE PMS. Too bad they're on at 6 pm Central, otherwise I'd be a dedicated listener. I make sure to listen everytime they fill in for Rome.
