    17th NFL game?

ESPN.com - NFL - Ready for more football? NFL ponders 17th game

The NFL is in preliminary talks about eliminating one preseason game and adding a 17th regular season game to be played somewhere outside the country.

Interesting idea, IMO. I'm for anything that gets rid of a preseason game or two and I like this a lot better than having two or three teams lose a home game to play overseas.

    Re: 17th NFL game?

i love taht idea.. but i do NOT like the idea of having the super bowl in another country.. idk how many people have seen that.. but i read some where.. maybe it was even on this site.. that they are considering moving the superbowl to another country for a year.. after the 2010 season.. i would be so ticked if they did that...

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I wouldn't mind them dropping some preseason games, but I'm not sure why they need any more games.
