    Tyler Leo

I don't think this has been discussed before but awhile back some were wondering about Tyler Leo, an excellent running back from Ankeny. He told one of my sons that he's going to ISU, I think as a preferred walk on. He's in the 6 foot 190 range and a very good all around athlete, so could project as a rb, d-back, or possibly a receiver, and could be an excellent special teams guy. Starting someday is probably a long shot, but you never know what walk ons are going to step up and be big contributors (Jesse Smith). Glad he chose to be a Cyclone.

You need walk ons who are athletic and can give it their all. hopefully he's a guy who can work hard at ISU and find his niche and some playing time in his career.

He might find a fit on the kicking team or as a SS. Fairly tall, so they could get him to 220 of so. Never want to count anyone out as a WR either. The current offense uses a lot of WR and is built more for guys that can get off the line and open 5 yards down the field than guys that can get open deep.

I blocked for him my senior year in H.S. Very good back who was a part of a three back system his junior year. That crew of three backs lead the state in yds/gm, 1st downs, total rushing yds. Runs down hill doesn't cut to often unless he needs to. Pretty much was his team his senior year.

CPR just mentioned Tyler Leo by name in the video about the RBs posted at cyclones.com.
