    New Desktop Wallpaper

Had some fun doing this one.

Right now I've only got it for 1024 x 768, but I plan on creating different sizes soon.

    Enjoy!

That's pretty cool... a 40+ year history show. Lots of memories - good and bad.

Often times wallpapers like this are too busy and just don't look good.

But not this one! Very nicely done.

    Re: New Desktop Wallpaper

I tried to use this as my background but all that comes up is the picture that is about the size of the one on this page with gray background. If I stretch it then it gets all blurry.

Is there something I can do to make it bigger and clear?

Very cool picture by the way..

    Re: New Desktop Wallpaper

I have way to many icons and they kind get lost in this - is there anyway you could replicate this but instead of the gray-ish jack trice photo background just have flat black?

If you're talking about what I think you are, go to your start button, then to control panel, then to display, then to desktop and on the right bottom corner you can set the background color to anything you would like.

Is your picture bigger then 1" x 1" on your desktop?

yeah, it takes up the whole screen when I set it as a background. And I'm not streaching it I have it set as "centered" in the desktop properties.

I was actually talking about altering your supplied image. Have the Iowa state and the helmets, but get rid of the background photo and replace it with just black to allow some areas for icons.

OK I see what you're talking about now.

I think I figured out my problem. I was setting the thumbnail as my desktop so it was using that size. When I went and clicked on the thumbnail and then set it as my desktop it worked fine. Just in case anyone else had the same problem.

Love it! My toolbar on the bottom cuts off half of the "Every yard for ISU" but other than that it is awesome!

That's odd. I think perhaps you need to right click on your toolbar and select "Lock the taskbar" if it's not already.

If it is already selected, then that is very strange.

Locked it, and it didnt change anything. It was already pulled down as far as it would go. I am really not to worried about it though. Thanks a bunch for the idea anyway.
