    Good ridence Pierre Pierce

Just got notification through the Sex Offender Alert email that PP is moving from our great city. Glad to see this guy go.

He must be pursuing that NBA career...I bet he won't put on his resume the Rec League he has been playing in.

    Don't let the door...

Wait...he was "convicted" for False Imprisonment? Is there something I'm missing here, or does that not make a whole lot of sense?

False Imprisonment is a step down from "Kidnapping".

    Solid Citizen material there, mates.

    Re: Good ridence Pierre Pierce

He's probably moving to Des Moines to try and hook up with that new D-League team.

    Yippie!

Given the last victim was from Des Moines, and (I don't know who, but) rumor was the 1st victim was originally from Des Moines - oh boy.

Personally, I say let him pursue his NBA career - especially since Iowa doesn't have an NBA team.

His last ruling stated that he couldn't leave Iowa until his probation was up. I don't know if his probation expired or if he appealed and won, but either of those would allow him to legally leave the Iowa borders.

Well herbie, that's part of it. False Imprisonment is basically holding someone captive without taking them away. For example, if I put a gun to my neighbor's head, and told them that if they tried to leave, I'd pull the trigger, that would be false imprisonment. I'm holding them captive with the "collatoral" of their "well-being" if they do as I say. There needs to be malicious intent, and the ability of the person being offended to leave if the offender was not present in the situation.
