In the field of battle, robots are a soldier's best friend
This is a truly excellent story from the Washington Post. It's about the role of robots in our military and the personal connections that soldiers have made with them. It's at once heartwarming, frightening and curious, not to mention educational. Very good read; I suggest taking five minutes out of your day to give it a shot.

True and Valiant
I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.
