    Re: In the Zone

I don't think it's a show, nor is it related to ESPN, other than Mortensen being a speaker. It sounds like is a 4 hour seminar for men.

    Re: In the Zone

Yeah, that hurts. I would have gone if it was like $8 or $12, but I definitely can't afford anything that steep. Too bad.

    True and Valiant

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

    Re: In the Zone

$61 snore-minar with no lunch??? Wow the message must be amazing! Secrets that unlock the male psyche in such a way that the average man becomes an instant 6 figure breadwinner and father of the year as substaintiated by the t-shirt and mug.

    The concept cracks me up.
We would like to get together to better men in the community.
Pay us $61 and we'll trot some recognizable faces out to speak with you.
Oh and make sure that the venue seats 3 to 5 thousand.

It's supernatural male enhancement, I believe.

    Re: In the Zone

I have partially lost some respect for Chizik. This is like having an info-mercial for something. I'm all for Cyclone related speaking engagements but this appears to be something that only financially benefits the speakers.

    Re: In the Zone

Could this be part of his salary by endorsements, etc?

If so, then I guess this is helping to finance our coaching staff and even though I agree it's corny, then I'm all for it.

I guess I have MORE respect for Chizik then less. It's kind of refreshing to see a program that emphasizes the importance of faith and being a good father.

OK...But why charge for it if is something you believe in. Sounds to me like someone just trying to make a buck. If you are already making a Million while living in Ames, how much more money does a person need?

I'm sure Chizik has nothing to do with how much admission costs.
