    Billy and Lindsey Fennelly

Will Lindsey get a job on the team too? Should be great for ISU WBB having those two around.

    Re: Billy and Lindsey Fennelly

With the current economic situation she will probably if at all be more of a volunteer coach/body in practice to help out in drills. She could help relate to the players but if she get's too involved it could hurt her with her other job at PGC and the NCAA will look really closely at anyone that attended PGC and is being recruited by ISU...may be best just to be a fan/member of the family. One or the other not both

Can't remember the name of the camp, but last summer, Lindsey was in charge of some traveling girls basketball camp.. They came to ames for a few days, and I got a chance to interact with them because of my job.

    Re: Billy and Lindsey Fennelly

Congrats to Billy and Bill for finding a way to work together. It must be a dream come true for both. The only part I have a problem with is the part of the release where they say Billy has great experience. There's no way to spin it, he's only been out of college for maybe 2-3 years, so there's no way he has great experience. If he wanted to hire his son, then just say that, and not try and puff it up to something it's not.

You missed the boat on this one. For being only 2-3 years in the business, his resume is very good. Would be very difficult to find someone with a better resume that's been in WBB coaching circles for that short period of time.

Billy's actually taking a step down in positions to work for ISU. He had previously been a director of operations.

My wife and I went to a volleyball match a couple of years ago at Hilton. Billy and Lindsey were sitting right in front of us when they shot a t-shirt up towards us. Billy caught it right in front of my wife's outstretched hands, and when he saw her behind him he gave her the t-shirt. They are great people and will be welcomed.
