Here's my recap. Matt would ask a question about how bad of a situation it was when Mac took over 4 years ago. Then Matt would throw some softball asking TJ how great of a coach Mac was, knowing full well that TJ would only say great things about his former coach and current friend.

Ken tries to talk about recent recruiting or working with Coach Hoiberg, and then Matt quickly interrupts to ask more about how tough of a situation it was when Mac took over. Then Matt would throw some softball asking TJ how great of a coach Mac was, knowing full well that TJ would only say great things about his former coach and current friend.

Re: T.J. Otzelberger on Matt & Miller today

It was a good interview, but Ken in particular had the good questions. I do sometimes wonder about Matt though.....he thought the big news was that TJ and Jamie talked on Monday about Fred being the coach. Matt thought that this was news. But Jamie has talked about how he called Fred on Sunday saying McDermott was most likely leaving and seeing if he was interested. Then on Monday afternoon when McDermott officially accepted it, he called Fred and drove up there. It is not shocking that on Monday TJ knew that it was likely Fred was going to be the coach.

I love how Matt gets slaughtered on this board (he deserves it, I just find it funny for some reason).

Why would I listen to Matt for anything ISU related?
I find myself slowly going back to Marty...

Well he's losing listeners like me. Haven't listened to him since Walters called him out.

Welcome aboooooooooooooooard. So have I. I would say it's the lesser of two evils, but I'm not sure about that. I thought Marty's interview with Jamie was fantastic though.

It is funny too, because the way some people were signing his praises when Martha was fired, you thought he was the second coming of Ronald Reagan.

Matt may be hard to listen to, but at least Ken knows what he's talking about and is a damn good guy. I don't know how anyone can listen to Marty for more than 30 seconds - the guy is unbelievable and doesn't have a clue on most topics, makes my ears begin to bleed! I do agree that Matt and ISU don't play well together and it's getting more and more obvious each day.

On another note - TJ did a great job and is starting to show more reasons of why he was such an important piece to keep around Cy-Land.

Matt Perrault’s Retardation Knows No Bounds Wide Right & Natty Light

somebody asked him how much he liked this article. he responded "hey, thanks for the free press buddy!"

I think the fact that he's a smug a-hole really doesn't help him much in the PR department

Re: T.J. Otzelberger on Matt & Miller today

I must admit, Matt, is loosing me by his agenda leading questions and biased views. Kind of a Mr. know it all with no real substance to back it up. He appears to be as biased as John Miller, yet at least Miller knows it and admits it. Crap, I just gave Miller a compliment and now I feel real dirty... I think for Fight night, we'll get the Michigan homer to take on the Creighton Homer in a debate... Michigan homer gets a TKO in the first round.

    Z

P.s. No one around here gives a rip about Creighton so maybe stick with topics applicable to the demographic in this area.
