    Promising new search engine

    Search Engine Duck Duck Go

Doubt this will knock off the big boys (Bing/Google) but this is fast, clean, and has some cool keyboard shortcuts that would be good once you got used to them.

I'll have to check it out.

I think it's amazing how fast Bing has come to prominence. It's not at Google level, yet, but considering how long Bing has been around, MS has to be pleased.

It's not that amazing, Bing is at only 11.7%. Up 4% from it's change last year. Never going to compete with Google, even with a partnership with Yahoo.

not bad. I'll stick with Google though. I have and love chrome, never have a reason to visit a search site.

I'm with you. I'll stick with Google and my Firefox extension that allows me to search via the address bar, like Chrome.

Another cool thing about DuckDuckGo is that it performs calculations via Wolfram Alpha, which is a cool engine, too.

They seem to be doing well in the US. Quintupled their marketshare in the last year. Not saying that it is even approaching Google status, but you can't deny that Bing has made a splash.
