    The Newcomers

Who do you think we will get the most exitement out of this up and coming season? I'm very exited to see Ejim, but i think(and hope) Godfrey gets some playing time this year. That kid is just a big ole bruiser down low. I am going to have my eye on Godfrey. What do you guys expect?

    Re: The Newcomers

I know Phillips has been talked about a lot, but with the guard play we have had lately I'm guessing he'll be the biggest surprise to me.

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Anderson and Phillips. I think Ejim will be good, especially defensively, but may take 1/2 a season to get into the flow.

    Re: The Newcomers

this actually seems like a really good recruiting class. I think Godfrey, McKnight, Plillips, Ejim and Anderson will play quite a bit. There might not be a super star in the group, but I think collectively there is a lot of talent. Just need to get some experience and I think we are going to see some good things by the time Feb. rolls around.

    Re: The Newcomers

Why? Questions i'd like to see answered...
Ejim- Can he live up to the hype?
Anderson- Can he be a bonafide scorer that this team needs?
Godfrey-Can he be low post presence on the glass?
McKnight- Is he developed enough to contribute this year?
Railey- Will we see him this year or will he be redshirted?
Phillips- Is he as good as advertised?

    Re: The Newcomers

I think that I am most excited about McKnight because I think a big like him will run in floor well in Hoiberg's up tempo style. I think he is the most athletic out of our big men. I think he was the most recruited player. I am also looking forward to seeing the rest of them. I hope Godfry can bring a nasty, physical presence and Phillips can penetrate. I think Railey has a lot of potential, but just from other posters and things I have read, I think he will do well but will take more time to develop. I am excited just to see some fast breaks. Will be interested to see where Noreen ends up or if we get any more transfers.

I heard Godfrey can run the floor pretty well for a big man too, when he needs to.

    Re: The Newcomers

how do most people feel about this recruiting class? is it the best in the last four years, it easily could be. I find it interesting though that almost all of these players were going to show up to campus for mac.

How do you say this "Retain" word?
    is the "R" silent?
