    Downloading Youtube for PPT

I'd like to use some videos during a PPT program. I will not have internet access during the program. Some downloading programs come up on searches, but, I hesitate to use any "free" software without a reference. Any suggestions for an easy to use download? If I can insert the video onto a slide, so much the better. I have IE, AOL, Google Chrome and Firefox browsers at home, but, may have only IE later, if that matters.

Ask and Record Toolbar is a free program that allows you to capture streaming audio and video (I think) and you can covert files as needed.

I'm assuming you mean downloading the video to your computer for later use during this PPT presentation. I recommend YouTube Downloader, used it several times for the same reason. Lets you rip the video right off YouTube and save it to your computer. Here's a link: YouTube Downloader - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com.

If this is for work or commercial gain, you may want to check on copyright restrictions. I don't know what the Google/YouTube Terms of Service regarding things like this, but if it is for work, you don't want to put your company in a situation where they could be legally liable for copyright infringement and any associated damages.
