    Cubs game parking?

Just purchased 3 Cubs/Cards tickets for next Sunday's game.

Didn't purchase parking, however. How easy is it to find a place to park out there? I believe there's some kind of train that goes to Wrigley as well?

    Thanks.

    Re: Cubs game parking?

the red line stops at the addison station right by wrigley, there is parking within a couple of blocks but it's busy, fills fast, and is quite expensive. I would suggest the red line.

I would echo just taking the train in if you are staying near one or parking a little bit away and taking the train. There are a lot of little lots nearby but it may be a pain to deal with.

I used the shuttle from Devry once. As long as you come and go within their time limits (2.5 hours before the game, 2 hours after for a day game, 1 hour after for a night game) it works fine.

    Re: Cubs game parking?

Thanks guys. Our tickets are located in what is called the "Budlight Bleacher Box". When I ordered them it said something small about them being "Type: ADULT". What exactly does that mean?

    I'm hoping it's kid-friendly.

Train for sure. Would never consider taking a car up to Wrigleyville.

The seats you're going to be in are box seats that are located in the bleachers down the right field line.

I'm pretty sure that's the outfield bleachers that I think are now 21+ or at least part of them.

That's what we use. Works pretty well and very cheap, especially if you have a group of people ($6 total for parking + shuttle for all vehicle occupants).

    Re: Cubs game parking?

Our party won't be able to go if that's the case. Better be able to get a 17 and 15 year old in. God.

EDIT: It looks like almost every seat in that stadium is labeled as "Type: ADULT", which probably just means they allow alcohol. I think we'll be fine. If someone can confirm, I'd appreciate it a bunch.

    Re: Cubs game parking?

We always use the el. these days, but when I would go with family a long time ago, we always parked in the grace street lot. I think it's still in use, but like $20 and about a 5 block walk or so. Good or bad. this is just a vague idea too, as we haven't used anything but the el/bus for the last 20 years. Wouldn't really try much else though for parking, but I'm not very trusting and unpaid street parking is nearly impossible.

I would think that if the guardian is there they shouldn't limit admission, but I'd double check for sure.

There is only one alcohol free section at Wrigley, and it is all the way down the line in left right next to the bleachers.

Yeah, I think I saw that. There aren't any 21+ regions or anything like that though, are there?

Also, we're in seats 101, 102, and 103. Is that the front row?
